Es ist einfach so: In den vergangenen Jahren fuhren Technologiefonds im Durchschnitt die höchsten Gewinne ein. Folglich führen sie auch die Rangliste des Investmentverbands BVI mit Einzahlplänen an. So weit, so überraschungsarm. Aber wie schnitten andere Fondskategorien ab?
Der BVI ermittelt regelmäßig, welche Ergebnisse Sparpläne in sämtliche Investmentfonds aus seiner Datenbank erzielt hätten. Die Zahlen veröffentlicht er für einzelne Fonds, aber auch für Fondskategorien im Durchschnitt. Das sagt freilich nichts über die Zukunft aus. Eine informative Momentaufnahme ist es aber allemal.
Dabei unterstellt der BVI stets, dass monatlich 100 Euro in die Fonds fließen. Soweit verfügbar, zieht er in Fünf-Jahres-Schritten Zeiträume von 10 bis 35 Jahren heran. In der Realität wird die Luft ab 20 Jahren jedoch reichlich dünn, für viele Fonds gibt es darüber hinaus keine Daten mehr.
Deshalb haben wir einerseits relevante und aufschlussreiche Kategorien ausgewählt. Andererseits haben wir darauf geachtet, dass mindestens fünf Fonds über 15 Jahre enthalten sind. Nach diesen Werten haben wir auch sortiert. Die Ergebnisse über 20 Jahre haben wir informationshalber mit hinzugefügt und die insgesamt eingezahlten Beträge in Klammern hinzugesetzt.
